3rd FLEPS WORKSHOP FEST TOMORROW

FLEPS WORKSHOP FESTIVAL WILL TAKE PLACE ON JUNE 28TH

The third annual FLEPS WORKSHOP FEST will take place on June 28th Friday at the Rauf Denktas Cultural and Congress Centre. As well as many workshops and presentations which will take place concurrently, there will be two plenary presentations by Tony Gurr and Grant Kempton. The presenters and participants will be able to have lunch at the Beach Club. The festival will end with a cocktail. DAÜ YABANCI DİLLER VE İNGİLİZCE HAZIRLIK OKULU ÜÇÜNCÜ ATÖLYE ÇALIŞMASI FESTİVALİ’Nİ YAPIYOR Birinci DAÜ YDİHO Atölye Çalışması Festivali, 20 Haziran 2011 tarihinde, DAÜ Turizm ve Otelcilik Yüksek Okulu’nda, Steve Neufeld’in Teknoloji ve Eğitim temalı seminerleriyle ve öğretim elemanları tarafından gün boyunca gerçekleştirilen çeşitli atölye çalışmalarıyla başarıyla tamamlanmıştı. DAÜ YABANCI DİLLER VE İNGİLİZCE HAZIRLIK OKULU ÜÇÜNCÜ ATÖLYE ÇALIŞMASI FESTİVALİ’Nİ YAPIYOR Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi (DAÜ) Yabancı Diller ve İngilizce Hazırlık Okulu (YDİHO) tarafından 2011 yılından beri geleneksel olarak düzenlenen Atölye Çalışmaları Festivali’nin üçüncüsü, 28 Haziran 2013 Cuma günü, Rauf Raif Denktaş Kültür ve Kongre Sarayı’nda gerçekleştiriliyor. Birinci DAÜ YDİHO Atölye Çalışması Festivali, 20 Haziran 2011 tarihinde, DAÜ Turizm ve Otelcilik Yüksek Okulu’nda, Steve Neufeld’in Teknoloji ve Eğitim temalı seminerleriyle ve öğretim elemanları tarafından gün boyunca gerçekleştirilen çeşitli atölye çalışmalarıyla başarıyla tamamlanmıştı. İkinci DAÜ YDİHO Atölye Çalışması Festivali ise 29 Haziran 2012 tarihinde, DAÜ Turizm ve Otelcilik Yüksek Okulu’nda, Yaşar Üniversitesi Yabancı Diller Okulu Müdürü Engin Ayvaz’ın Akreditasyon Süreci ile ilgili açılış seminerini vermesi ile başladı. Gün boyunca yine öğretim elemanları tarafından çeşitli atölye çalışmaları gerçekleştirildi. Pearson ve Saydam Berberoğlu’nun sponsorluğunu yaptığı Grant Kempton tarafından Eğitimde Motivasyon temalı kapanış semineri ile tamamlandı. Bu yıl üçüncüsü gerçekleşecek olan DAÜ YDİHO Atölye Çalışması Festivali, 28 Haziran 2013 tarihinde Tony Gurr tarafından yapılacak açılış semineri ile başlayacak ve üç ayrı oturumda devam edecektir. Açılış semineri ve birinci oturum atölye çalışmalarını takiben DAÜ Beach Club’da yenilecek öğle yemeğinden sonra atölye çalışmaları öğleden sonra iki oturumda gerçekleşecektir. Grant Kempton tarafından yapılacak kapanış seminerinin ardından etkinlik seminer ve atölye çalışmalarını gerçekleştiren öğretim görevlilerine sertifikalarının verileceği kokteyl ile sona erecektir.

FESTIVAL OF JOY-- TO CELEBRATE LEARNING AT EMU EPS

the Festival of Joy took place on June 5th at EPS. We celebrated learning via our students' projects, CIP brochures, artistic creations (photos, paintings, drawings, etc), CIP/volunteer teachers & students/MLD World languages/Tarot reading/ International office free rice/ cultural food stands, traditional dances, music and songs, 'my biggest gain at EPS' flags, games and competitions and many more.... Many thanks to the organizers who made this day such a success, and also to our colleagues and students.....

Learning through experiencing

EPS students who are involved in Community Involvement Projects (CIP) have been learning English through being involved in projects, as well as in the classroom. It is fun to do charity work, see new places, meet new people, and also improve your English at the same time, isn't it?
