We are very happy to realise one of the festival project ideas created by our students at our school. As we are in summer now & we’ve come to the end of the year, we’ve decided to hold a Watermelon eating Contest. Students had great fun eating delicious watermelons and competing with each other. The winners were awarded with a DVD about Cyprus.

Tabriz Sixaliyev won the Oxford Reading Competition and is going to London :)))))

And finally the winner is announced.....Tabriz Sixaliyev won the Oxford Reading Competition sponsored by Deniz Plaza and is going to London on a 4-day-trip:))))) Thanks Deniz Plaza for making a dream come true. And thanks to everyone who contributed in different ways. Selecting the winner of the competition was a long process both for students and the jury. Firstly, students were asked to select a book to read, secondly they had to write a review of the story they read and finally they did a presentation. A jury was formed to read the students’ reviews and select the best ones for the presentation. The award ceremony took place on May 17, Thursday, at 15.45 in Green Hall. We would again like to thank Deniz Plaza for sponsoring our winner, Tabriz Sixaliyev, on a 4 day trip to London.
