EPS students take part in the Ice Bowling Tournament


EMU EPS students got the opportunity to release some stress after their midterm exams by participating in the Ice Bowling Tournament organized by the Student Affairs Team. The winners were awarded prizes.

EPS students get to know the Turkish Cypriot culture



EMU EPS students got to know about the Turkish Cypriot culture in the village of Akova. A group of Intermediate level students, composed of Turkish as well as foreign students, watched the making of hellim, traditional Cypriot cheese, yoghurt, and other traditional tastes.

Charity Bazaar at SFL EPS- Volunteers don't necessarily have the time, they have the HEART!!!!!



Intermediate Prep School Students have held a Charity Bazaar in the grounds of the English Preparatory School today, 23rd December 2011, where they sold cakes, books, DVDs and hand-made crafts. The Intermediate level students are involved in different CIP (Civic Involvement Projects), and the Charity Bazaar was one of their many activities. The money raised at the Charity Bazaar will go to Ozen Old People's Home and the Animal Protection Association.

SFL EPS promotes International Exams in the CL Building on the main campus


EMU SFL EPS is an exam centre for 6 International English exams (TOEFL IBT, LCCI, City and Guilds, TOLES, IELTS, and BULATS).... Today, the members of the Promotion team promoted these exams in the CL building on the main campus.... The stand attracted a lot of interest.

EMU SFL English Preparatory School hosted the 4th Forum on Curricular Issues (FOCI) on 9th - 10th December. This year's theme was Collaborating with Colleagues to Consolidate the Curriculum. Representatives from various Universities from Turkey attended the forum.

EPS SSSC Activities

The following are the activities / competitions organized by the SFL EPS Student Self Study Centre (SSSC) Team:

1. Reader of the month competition (monthly),
2. SSSC Poster Competition (This will be held this
month - 20-21-22 December),
3. SSSC Graded Reader Presentation Competition
(This will be held in January)
4. Freerice Competition (This is an ongoing
competition - started yesterday).
